You know when you go on vacation, it takes a few days to actually get in the mind set of being on vacation. You’re still worried about schedules. You’re still tired from actually trying to get on vacation in the first place. You’re mind is still racing. You’re not in the relaxed state of mind that you thought you would be.
But by day three, you shift gears, a switch turns off and you start to think only about getting into the hot tub, going for a walk or having a glass of wine with lunch! Yes with lunch!
That is what vacation is about. Getting away from your normal routine and creating a routine that is less…less if everything.
