10 minutes of mindfulness

I missed the first meditation meeting at work yesterday. As I mentioned in an earlier post, my company is thinking about offering mediation as a benefit during work hours. Several people who showed interest met to discuss the possibilities and logistics of a group meditation. I missed the meeting because I wasn’t feeling so great. After the meeting this TED talk video was sent around.

If you have 9 minutes to spare it’s an enlightening topic on how we put our minds through so much stress each but we don’t take the time to take care of it. And if we just spent 10 minutes a day giving out minds a much needed rest we would be more mindful, less distracted, and much happier beings.
